Situation: The Challenge
Carbon Theory, a UK-based leader in science-backed acne treatments, needed to launch a dedicated brand presence within the Nahdi Pharmacy online store, the largest healthcare retailer in the Saudi market. The challenge was Brand Integrity within Retail Constraints. We had to create a high-converting digital shop-in-shop that felt like Carbon Theory’s premium global brand while adhering to Nahdi’s specific e-commerce architecture and technical requirements.
Task: The Objective
To ensure a successful Middle Eastern digital launch, we needed to:
- Optimize for Conversion: Design a landing page layout that educates the customer on the science (Charcoal/Tea Tree) while removing friction from the "Add to Cart" journey.
- Bridge the Language & Cultural Gap: Tailor the visual communication to resonate with the Saudi skincare market while maintaining the brand's iconic "Clinical-Cool" aesthetic.
- Establish Science-Backed Authority: Use art direction to visually prove the efficacy of the products, moving beyond just "skincare" into "skincare solutions."
Action: The Solution
Lot Designs engineered a "Conversion-First" brand page:
- The "Science-First" Art Layout: We designed a high-impact visual hierarchy that prioritized product ingredients and "Before & After" mental cues. We utilized stark, high-contrast imagery to mimic the brand's activated charcoal core.
- E-Commerce UX Optimization: We mapped out a user flow specifically for the Nahdi store interface, ensuring the most popular SKUs (like the Cleansing Bar) were positioned for maximum visibility and quick checkout.
- Strategic Creative Direction: We acted as the bridge between the UK brand team and the regional retail team, ensuring all promotional assets and landing page elements were "Retail-Ready" and localized for the MEA digital landscape.
